EWB UNIVERSITY
OF NEW BRUNSWICK
Chapters are the beating heart of EWB. Across Canada chapter members are taking thoughtful and strategic actions to create profound social change in their universities, companies, and communities.

EWB UNB is a student organization at the University of New Brunswick based out of the Fredericton campus. We are a vibrant community of students, professionals, and fellows, with a unique approach to global development – addressing root causes to create lasting change. The UNB chapter is one of 39 across Canada working together to eradicate systemic poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.

EWB UNB meets on a weekly basis to discuss social issues and initiatives on a local, national, and global level. We are open to all members of the UNB community (not just engineering students!) and are affiliated with the Engineering Undergraduate Society and UNB Student Union.

Some of our major events throughout the year include Global Change Night, Run 2 End Poverty, Sustainability Week, and Fair Trade Campus Week, among others.

We are a part of the Atlantic group of student chapters alongside EWB MUN, EWB UPEI, and EWB Dalhousie. We collectively hold an annual Atlantic Retreat for the 4 chapters' members during the winter academic term to discuss various topics and get together for some fun activities.
